LONG-LASTING, HEIRLOOM-QUALITY WALL ART FOR YOUR HOME
Simple as:
-
During our first chat, we’ll talk about your dog - their personality, their little quirks, and the connection you share. I’ll walk you through how the process works, answer any questions you have, and help you start imagining how your portraits could live in your home. By the end, you’ll feel clear, confident, and excited about creating something truly meaningful together.
-
The consultation is our in-person meet and greet - a relaxed time for us to connect before the session. I’ll spend a few minutes getting to know your dog so they can feel comfortable with me, and we’ll go over styling, backgrounds, and the overall look you’re drawn to. You’ll also see and feel the artwork options in person - wall pieces, fine art prints, and folio boxes - so we can thoughtfully design something that fits your home and feels right for you.
-
Your session is calm, intentional, and never rushed. Most sessions last about 60 to 90 minutes, giving your dog time to settle in, explore, and simply be themselves - and if there are multiple dogs, we allow extra time so everyone gets their moment. By the end, they’ve had so much mental stimulation and fun that they usually go home ready for a very well-deserved nap.
-
That’s where everything comes together. In about 5 days after your session, we’ll meet to see your portraits for the very first time - presented in a cinematic video so you can truly feel the emotion and connection we captured.
Afterward, I’ll guide you through choosing your favorite images and designing the artwork that fits your home and your story, whether that’s statement wall art, an album, or matted prints. It’s a relaxed, personalized process designed to feel simple, meaningful, and completely tailored to you.
-
This is the wow moment - the moment your artwork is revealed in your home, exactly where it belongs. I personally inspect every piece and handle the full installation, making sure everything is placed perfectly and feels completely at home in your space. This is when your portraits stop being images and truly become part of your everyday life.

FAQs

It can be either. We can talk about that during our discovery call. Outside produces a more documentary style of photography, studio shoots produce a more sophisticated style. Whatever scenario will create the most natural result is the one I generally recommend.
-
Yes, absolutely.
I photograph many dogs on leash. Safety always comes first, and most dogs are actually more relaxed when they feel that gentle connection to their person. I use thin, neutral leashes during the session and can easily edit them out afterward, so your final portraits look natural and leash-free.
Your dog doesn’t need to be off-leash to create beautiful portraits. They just need to be themselves.
-
That’s completely okay. Many of the dogs I work with are anxious or easily overwhelmed, There’s no pressure for them to behave a certain way - we move at their pace and create something beautiful from who they truly are.
-
Absolutely - and I truly hope you are.
Some of the most meaningful portraits are the ones that include you. Years from now, it won’t just be about how your dog looked… it’ll be about the way they looked at you.
-
I will always accommodate you if you have had sudden sad news or you know your dearest furry friend is preparing to pass over.
-
Yes, I create images in both black & white and color. I have found that black and white often expresses your dog’s character more fully when color is absent.
-
I work in and around Austin including Round Rock, Zilker, Bee Cave, Lakeway, etc.
-
